Kalia Export Pvt. Ltd. comes from over three decades of hands-on experience in the leather industry. Our journey has been built around leather — understanding the material, working with skilled craftsmen, developing products, managing production, and serving buyers who value consistency and reliability. Based in Kolkata, one of India’s established leather goods manufacturing hubs, we bring together practical industry knowledge and focused manufacturing capability. Today, Kalia Export specializes in leather wallets, handbags, and accessories for B2B buyers, importers, wholesalers, retailers, and sourcing partners. Our 50,000 sq. ft. facility gives us the ability to manage sampling, production, finishing, quality checks, packing, and buyer-specific requirements under one organized setup. We are not trying to manufacture every leather product category. Our focus is clear: wallets, handbags, and accessories made with care, consistency, and attention to buyer specifications. For us, manufacturing is not just about producing pieces in bulk. It is about understanding what the buyer needs, developing the right product, maintaining quality across the order, and building relationships that can grow over time.
Overview
We concentrate on three product families — leather wallets, leather handbags, and leather accessories. This focus lets us maintain consistent pattern libraries, trained operators, and repeatable quality across bulk orders instead of spreading capability across unrelated product lines.
Kolkata is one of India's established leather goods manufacturing hubs, with ready access to tanneries, hardware suppliers, lining and packaging vendors, and a skilled workforce. Working within this ecosystem allows us to source materials efficiently and respond quickly to buyer development requests.
We manufacture to buyer designs and specifications. Logo embossing, debossing, foil stamping, custom linings, stitching colours, metal logo plates, hangtags, retail packaging, and carton labelling are handled in-house or through long-standing partner vendors.
Our aim is repeat business, not one-off orders. We work with buyers through development, sampling, approval, bulk production, inspection, and dispatch, keeping communication direct and documentation clear at each stage.
